HEMAC Florentia is the first official HEMAC event held in Italy. It will be hosted in the wonderful city of Florence, from March, 14th to March, 16th 2014, and it is brought to you by the organizing effort of the italian HEMAC members, and by Sala d’Arme Achille Marozzo
HEMAC Florentia will host 21 different workshops by instructors from all around Europe, whom will show techniques from all the mayor european fencing tradition ranging from XIII to XVIII cen.

It is my pleasure to announce that on 5 and 6 April 2014, the School voor Historische Schermkunsten will host the first International Rapier Seminar in or near Delft in the Netherlands (IRS Delft). During this event, a number of the foremost researchers and instructors of different styles of Rapier fencing will be present and teach a class focusing on unique aspects of their chosen style. After the painstaking job of finding a venue for Sword Chase, I’m pleased to announce that next years event will be taking place at the Railway Institute in York. For those who do not know what Sword Chase is, Sword Chase was the first sword based martial arts tournament to feature styles from HEMA, Oriental and JSA. FightCamp is run by Matt Easton of Schola Gladiatoria (www.swordfightlondon.com) – a renowned Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) group based in London. Join us on Facebook.
